When selecting the material of the shrapnel connector, we should not only consider the performance, but also the performance requirements of stamping and subsequent processing.

For the molding process, such as bending, convex hull, etc., the material should have good stamping molding performance. That is, it should have good resistance to rupture and shape, otherwise the product is prone to deformation and rupture, which will result in difficulties in mold repair. For the separation process, the material is required to have a certain plasticity.

The surface of the material should be smooth and free of defects and damage. The material with good surface quality is not easy to break during molding, not easy to scratch the mold, and the surface quality of the part is also good.

Because a certain mold clearance is only applicable to a certain thickness range of materials. If the material thickness tolerance is too large, it will not only directly affect the quality of the parts, but also may lead to the appearance of scrap. In the process of correcting bending and shaping, it may cause damage to the mold or punch due to excessive thickness deviation.
